Left work at 5, in order to do some shopping, as the lil one was about to arrive. heavy stuff, all the food which one needs in order to feed his lil/big bro... Franky then dropped by around 8, after he finished his training. Sat down to have a few starters and a glass of Rosè. nice, siting outside, as it was still around 20 Celsius...

Claudi prepared her lurvely Spagghetti with shrooms, which we in the best hammerlike "seek  and destroy" fashion got downe with in a few mins (well, me anywayz, hehe). continued to chat about Galileo - Franky seems to have gathered all his knowledge from there - j/k :-D Fortunately the lil one was able to get my 2 machines connected, so I can finally share stuff between them (check Firewall settings FTW).

was time to do some serious gaming. oh well, TA CD's broken, so i installeld a pinball simulation. and how great that went! some more beers and a few giggles later we had a last Grappa and went to bed.

got up today, and decdided to go for breakfast, havin a nice walk through the alstertal first. well, off we went, and after we got stuffed of coruse, some more exercise. packing and leaving was a mater of a couple of mins, and 30 mins later I wave dthe lil one good bye...

what a splendid morning. again! blue sky, about 15 celsius, and at 08:25 a.m. I was omw to Oevelgoenne for the second training day. had to buy a bottle of water, as I was a "bit" thirsty from the Ouzo last night... ;) did the first group task and here pics from both Joern M. and Bernhard playing "ze Rama game".

hm, maybe the last time Jo was in the office in Berliner Tor today. the lucky sod is on vacation starting today and flying out to the Maledives next week... anyhow, Frank Jo and I had some red wine, some ouzo, some more starters, some more food - had Moussaka as main course - not as nice as usual, a tad too salty imho :-(. too stuffed for desert, so we had one more raki instead :-D left about 9, and Jo was nice enough to drive me to the underground.

Training - first day

Joern R., looking quite serious... and here Hakan, looking even more serious ;) 4 days training about a tool, where it is likely that we will discontinue using it... "don't question authority, they don't know either" but the food is great (delivered from "lust auf italien") and the location down the river Elbe enables me to take the ferry boat every morning. fanfrikkintastic!

Bellissimi revisited

Thu eve I was allowed to make some homemade potatoe salad. email me for a detailed recipe, hehe. basically potatoes, gherkins, apple, mayo, and a bit mustard, horse radish and garlic for the finish. lots of peeling involved though... here you see about 14 pounds I guess. enuff for 10 people, I hoped...

well, friday was showdown. and yes, we had enough p'tatoe salad... we got close to "exterminating all of Claudis Rosè though" - great fun with the Blankenese crew! we calmed the girls with Lolek and Bolek DVD's and a teddy bear/cat puzzle... Stefan and I checked quite often if nobody was asleep, and took piccies to prove it ;)

the salad was even enough for Volkers birthday on saturday near Ruempel 8-) the girls almost got lost on the way to the party (as always it seems)... not much alcohol really, just a few beers, and of course more p'tatoe salad. left around midnight, and was glad to sit down once we got home...

Manhattan in Hamburg

as ye can see... (well, almost Manhattan that is, hehe) Kamil, + Frank on their way to ze speisewagen, a place where the food is prolly a 2-3, but the ambience is great. especially when the train is driving past and the cutlery starts to bounce.... later that day via the Alster to a reading, Wolf Haas, a great austrian writer. The movie "Komm Suesser Tod" (come you sweet death ?) is based on one of his novels, and is one of my top three german movies... After the reading, at night, the Alster looks like this (taken with my mob. phones camera). Wednesday again we went for breakfast, here the usual view from the harbour. great weather in good ole germany!

Fri, Sat and Sun flew by. From meeting  my sister Anne, seeing her new baby boy, cleaning my dads flat as he is not well yet, visiting my other Sister Ina, walking past the house I grew up, meeting Roche, having lotsa fun in Weimar and being hungover x3 when I was omw back to Hamburg...
